As the year comes to a close, it seems fitting that I take this time to share some photos from one Calgary’s best communities and recurring events: One Big Jam and their annual holiday special.

For those of you who haven’t made it out to a jam yet, picture hundreds of artists - singers, rappers, dancers, musicians of all kinds — coming together on stage for an ad-hoc jam of epic proportions. Led by Chris Maric, a staple of the Calgary scene and passionate supporter of the arts in our city, One Big Jam is an experience like no other and a wonderful evening for performers and watchers alike.
